C & F Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to work closely with logistics, shipping, and transportation, ensuring accuracy in labeling and efficient order processing.

You will maintain inventory accuracy, follow safe work practices, and support customer service with timely communications and proper documentation. This full-time role requires occasional after-hours work and a commitment to our core values on a dynamic warehouse team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to complete work assignments, which on occasion, extend past 5pm
• Computer skills for operating warehouse management system (WMS)
• 1-2 years of warehouse/shipping experience, preferred
• Must be able to interpret shipping information
• Must have the ability to meet warehouse deadlines

Responsibilities

• Accurate carton labeling before loading onto trucks.
• Load cartons into the correct UPS or FedEx trucks.
• Oversee special handling cartons from invoicing department.
• Label order number, weight and dimensions accurately for every order.
• Demonstrate knowledge of shipping practices and pricing.
• Maintain supply inventory and communicate with Customer Service.
• Operate scan gun and maintain inventory counts.
• Oversee returns from customers and direct to proper departments.

Job Purpose

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for working closely with logistics, shipping and transportation; accountable for the safe work practices; knowledge and use of inventory tracking system; promote and implement the company’s core values and excellence in customer service; responsible for maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurate carton labels prior to loading cartons onto trucks.
• Responsible for loading the cartons in the correct trucks-UPS or FedEx.
• Oversee special handling cartons from Invoicing Department.
• Label order number, weight and dimensions accurate for every order.
• Knowledge of shipping practices and pricing.
• Responsible for supply inventory and communication with Customer Service Dept.
• Maintain the company’s equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Operate scan gun and maintain inventory counts.
• Oversee Returns from Customers and direct to proper Departments.
• Assist UPS and/or FedEx drivers, as needed.
• Adhere to the Shipping Department daily closing procedures.
• Supports maintaining a safe working environment and focuses on safe work habits.
• Maintains a focus for self and team on continuous learning that will enhance skill sets and growth opportunities.

Qualifications
