Job summary

NoTrax, a Justrite Safety Group Company, Moselle, MS 39459, USA, is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to assist the Warehouse Supervisor with daily transportation support and shipment processing. You will interact with Customer Service, Traffic, Purchasing, Warehouse, and MIS teams, coordinating with transportation companies to ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities include routing shipments, documentation accuracy, scheduling pickups, and handling international shipments.

Qualifications

• Two years shipping experience required.
• Knowledge of international and domestic shipping requirements & regulations.
• Must be computer literate, preferably experienced in Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Warehouse Supervisor with daily transportation support, including organizing and processing shipping orders.
• Route shipments and schedule carriers; enter shipping information in software and mainframe systems.
• Ensure documentation for shipments (proforma invoices, commercial invoices, certificate of origin, NAFTA) is complete.
• Schedule freight pickup and notify carriers of pickup dates; maintain shipping logs and late order tracking.
• Complete shipping labels for FedEx, DHL, UPS and coordinate with carriers.
• Inspect outgoing orders for accuracy (LTL, small package, Grainger, Uline, etc.).
• Obtain freight quotes as needed and route orders via vendor portals (Grainger, Amazon).
• Schedule containers and prepare documents for international shipments; maintain routing guides.

The ContributionYou’llbring to this Role:

Responsible for assisting the Warehouse Supervisor with the daily transportation support of the Moselle facility including organizing and processing shipping orders, routing shipments, scheduling carriers, and entering shipping information. This position has a high degree of interaction with employees in Corporate Customer Service, Traffic and Purchasing, Warehouse, and MIS departments. This position also has a high degree of interaction with the transportation companies on a daily basis.

WhatYou’llDoat Justrite:

• Actively pursues continuous improvement in a team environment while ensuring you contribute positively to providing total customer satisfaction while improving the environment.
• Participates in Scanned Physical Inventories as needed.
• Receives, organizes and enters shipping orders in software program and mainframe network.
• Ensures all documentation for shipments are in order including proforma invoices, commercial invoices, certificate of origin, and NAFTA.
• Schedules pick-up of freight and notifies carrier of pick-up date.
• Compiles shipping information for shipping log/late order tracking.
• Completes Federal Express, DHL, etc and UPS shipping labels and notifies them when pick-up is needed.
• Inspection of outgoing orders to ensure accuracy. Including LTL, Small Package, Grainger, Uline, etc.
• Obtains freight quotes as needed for shipments while ensuring customer specific requirements are met.
• Uses vendor portal websites to route orders following customer specific requirements. i.e. Grainger and Amazon
• Schedules containers and prepares all necessary documents for international shipments.
• Maintains all updated routing guides.
• Determines parcel post rates and generates postage stamps.
• Traces any shipments at request of Customer Service Department.
• Provides information related to orders, changes, and status of delivery to management, corporate customer services, etc.
• Maintains records and files related to own work. Organizes records and work efforts to assure timely accomplishment of tasks.
• Manages freight claims for the Moselle division
• Enters billing (PRO#’s and postage charges) information into system (for freight charges)
• Maintains administration functions (filing) as it pertains to Visual Management.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Two years shipping experience.
• Knowledge of international and domestic shipping requirements & regulations.
• Must be computer literate, preferably experienced in Excel and Access.

Compensation:

The position offers a competitive base salary.

Actual base salaries will vary and may be above or below the recommended pay range based on factors such as but not limited to location, relevantexperienceand performance. Additionally, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan to enhance their overall total compensation package when Justrite Safety Group and their business units achieve annual business and financial targets.
