Job summary

Skylift is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Associate in Ohio to process, pick, pack and ship in-stock parts orders and coordinate shipments for maximum efficiency.

You will work closely with Inside Parts Sales, fabrication and purchasing to ensure accuracy, on-time delivery and inventory integrity, on a first shift (Mon-Fri 7:00 AM–3:30 PM) with comprehensive benefits and a safe, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping, receiving, logistics or warehouse operations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping systems.

Responsibilities

• Process, pick, pack, and ship in-stock parts orders.
• Coordinate with Inside Parts Sales to expedite orders.
• Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize shipping and receiving areas.
• Assist with receiving incoming materials and parts deliveries.
• Communicate shipment status and order updates with internal teams as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, pick, pack, and ship in-stock parts orders.
• Work closely with Inside Parts Sales to expedite customer orders.
• Coordinate with fabrication and purchasing teams when parts are unavailable in inventory.
• Schedule and coordinate shipments using the most efficient and cost-effective methods.
• Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize shipping and receiving areas.
• Assist with receiving incoming materials and parts deliveries.
• Communicate shipment status and order updates with internal teams as needed.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with shipping systems preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Experience driving a truck with a trailer is a plus.
• Ability to lift and move parts and materials as required.
• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, warehouse operations, or parts distribution is preferred.
