AkzoNobel in Columbus, OH is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate and administer logistics within the finished goods department, supporting internal and external customers in outbound shipments and on-time delivery of paints and coatings.

The role requires high school education, attention to detail, proficiency with Microsoft Office, ability to lift 55 lbs, and strong problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent benefits are offered with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Main point of contact for communication with 4PL providers.
• Creation of all required shipping documentation.
• Purchase and maintain stocking levels for all department supplies.
• Liaison with customer service, sales, customer and carriers on any issue relating to the transportation of our products.
• Manage document retention program for all critical hazardous material documentation per 49CFR regs.
• Management of return process through CLX inbound portal.
• Scheduling of carrier pickups (LTL, TL, Intermodal & Expedite).
• Good working knowledge of Warehouse Management module in SAP Inventory and Cycle counting responsibilities.

Job Purpose
