Job summary

Qnity Electronics, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Compliance/QC Technician in Schaumburg, IL. The role focuses on ensuring shipping compliance and product quality through inspections, audits, and training within the Quality Control department.

You will support product development teams and perform final inspections to meet customer drawings and specifications. The position requires experience with ISO 9001, reading schematics/blueprints, and using precision test tools.

Qualifications

• ISO 9001 knowledge and related quality standards experience.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints with attention to detail.
• Experience using optical comparators, micrometers, calipers, voltmeters.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and oral communication, good teamwork.
• Background in RF or electrical fields preferred.
• Basic math concepts and measurement interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and prioritize QC department work and inspections.
• Conduct periodic audits of processes and products.
• Support product development teams with QC input.
• Provide training on Laird products and QA processes.
• Perform final product inspections for conformance to drawings.
• Load software and conduct final testing of complex products per specs.
• Investigate quality problems and drive resolution.
• Interpret specs to distinguish acceptable vs. rejectable items.
• Communicate with suppliers and shipping requirements; support QA Engineers.
