Job summary

Drum Workshop in Oxnard, California is seeking a Shipping Clerk to move products from our facility to dealers, musicians, and customers worldwide.

You will pull, pack, and ship orders, operate forklifts and pallet jacks, verify quantities, inspect materials for damage, and work with a team to ensure accurate, on-time deliveries. This full-time role includes comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with variable temperatures.
• Perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll play an important role in getting our products from our facility into the hands of dealers, musicians, and customers around the world. Your responsibilities will include:

• Pull, pack, and ship domestic and international orders
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Verify order quantities, quality, and accuracy against shipping documents
• Inspect materials for damage and report discrepancies
• Review pulled materials against order paperwork and identify variances
• Load products onto shipping conveyor systems
• Pack cartons and prepare palletized shipments for delivery
• Work as part of a team to ensure orders are accurate and products arrive safely and on time

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift at least 65 pounds.
• Must able to work in busy warehouse environment, in which temperatures may vary from outside weather
• Able to perform repetitive tasks including but not limited to: bending squatting, standing, walking, moving arms/shoulders in spinning or turning motion, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Pay Rate is $18.50
