gobravvo is seeking a Shipping Clerk in Atlanta, GA to support daily movement of goods with accuracy and efficiency. You will prepare shipments, verify inventory, document, and dispatch orders, using modern technology and inventory software.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and export documentation.
• Comfortable standing for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to operate stand-up forklifts.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory software.

Responsabilités

• Examine shipment contents and compare them with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain adequate inventory of stock.
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders to route materials appropriately.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping using hand tools, power tools, or postage meters.
• Record shipment data, including weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting and recordkeeping purposes.
• Operate stand-up forklifts and other equipment as needed to transport and organize materials.
• Utilize computers and relevant software for documentation and tracking of shipments.
