Job summary

Fenix Parts in Belleville, MI is seeking a Shipping Clerk & Backup Delivery Driver to support our automotive parts logistics. The role covers shipping, receiving, data entry, and part staging to ensure on-time dispatch.

You will operate forklifts, maintain quality checks, and back up delivery routes when needed, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a comprehensive benefits package. This position values attention to detail, teamwork, and safe warehouse practices, with opportunities for growth as

Qualifications

Prior shipping or warehouse experience.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
Basic computer proficiency and data entry.
Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Shipping and Receiving: Manage shipping/receiving of small packages via UPS and FedEx.
Quality Control: Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
Data Management: Enter shipping information accurately into the YMS system.
Part Staging: Prepare parts for dispatch on Fenix delivery trucks.
Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse tasks in addition to shipping duties.
Safety: Ensure safe operation of forklift equipment and keep workspace clean.
Back Up Delivery Driver: Run delivery routes when needed based on staffing and demand.
