Fenix Parts in Belleville, MI is seeking a Shipping Clerk & Backup Delivery Driver to support our automotive parts logistics. The role covers shipping, receiving, data entry, and part staging to ensure on-time dispatch.

• Prior shipping or warehouse experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Basic computer proficiency and data entry.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Shipping and Receiving: Manage shipping/receiving of small packages via UPS and FedEx.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
• Data Management: Enter shipping information accurately into the YMS system.
• Part Staging: Prepare parts for dispatch on Fenix delivery trucks.
• Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse tasks in addition to shipping duties.
• Safety: Ensure safe operation of forklift equipment and keep workspace clean.
• Back Up Delivery Driver: Run delivery routes when needed based on staffing and demand.

Salary Range: $20.00 To $23.00 Annually

Position Overview:

Shipping Clerk & Backup Delivery Driver at Fenix Parts, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the timely processing and shipment of automotive parts to meet our high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving of small packages via third-party carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts to guarantee they meet Fenix quality standards before shipment.
• Data Management: Accurately enter shipping information into the YMS system.
• Part Staging: Organize and prepare parts for dispatch on Fenix delivery trucks.
• Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse tasks in addition to specific shipping duties.
• Safety: Must ensure the safe operation of forklift equipment, as well as maintain a clean workspace void of debris.
• Back Up Delivery Driver: Run delivery routes when required based on staffing and demand.

Requirements:

• Experience: Prior experience in shipping or warehouse roles.
• Equipment Operation: Prior forklift operation experience highly preferred.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
