Job summary

4over in Moonachie, NJ is seeking a Shipping Clerk for our on-site production facility. The role focuses on processing and fulfilling customer orders, with forklift operation as part of daily duties, plus packing and labeling for shipment.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing setting, basic computer skills, and experience with sit-down forklifts. Schedule is second shift, Mon-Fri, with 8+ hours daily, and health and retirement benefits are provided.

• Minimum of 2 years related shipping experience in a manufacturing environment and/or training.
• Sit-down forklift experience
• Basic computer knowledge

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stack, and stage product and materials using a forklift, clamp truck, or other power equipment.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring quantity and accuracy of product has been prepared.
• Accurately package, label, and weigh items to be shipped and ensure proper shipment method and shipping charges.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars or trailers.
• Maintain accuracy and quality of outbound shipments including damages and quality variances, report as needed.
• Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate areas.
• Complete and maintain all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
