Description

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for all basic level shipping tasks in the shipping department, including labeling and loading products for customer delivery.

Responsibilities include:

• Using a forklift to load trucks for various freight companies and move skids from revolver and racks.
• Stocking departments with packaging materials using a forklift.
• Labeling using UPS, FedEx, and other truck applications, advanced shipment notices, and communicating with logistics companies via email.
• Interacting daily with truck drivers.
• Supporting the packaging area.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrates a positive attitude in all aspects of work.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment (retail, service industry, etc.).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
• Ability to stand, twist, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift 40 lbs. repeatedly over a 10-hour shift.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Over 1 year of experience with labeling using UPS, FedEx, and similar applications.
