  • Documentation & Accuracy - handle paperwork including purchase orders, delivery notes, and shipping documents; maintain records and resolve routine issues quickly.
  • Shipping & Logistics - direct movement of shipments, schedule inbound/outbound loads, maintain detailed logs, prepare labels and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Communication & Collaboration - provide updates to carriers and customers; work with internal teams to track and resolve issues.
  • Technology & Process Improvement - use SAP to print pick lists, post orders, access carrier details, and seek efficiency improvements.
  • Quality & Safety - ensure proper storage, inventory control, and a safe work area.
  • Team Support - act as a backup for other office personnel to ensure seamless operations.

As a Shipping Clerk, you'll be the key link in making sure products move smoothly and accurately. You'll verify incoming and outgoing shipments, keep detailed records, and prepare items for delivery with precision and care. Your attention to detail ensures every order reaches its destination on time and in perfect condition-helping us deliver on our promise to customers.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Documentation & Accuracy - Handle a variety of paperwork, including purchase orders, return authorizations, delivery notes, and other shipping documents. Review delivery notes for special instructions and highlight them for material handlers. Maintain accurate records, files, and documentation while resolving routine issues quickly and effectively.

  • Shipping & Logistics - Direct the movement of shipments from receiving platforms to storage and work areas. Schedule inbound and outbound loads and keep a detailed log of all commercial vehicles. Prepare special labels for customer orders and ensure every shipment meets delivery deadlines.

  • Communication & Collaboration - Provide timely, professional updates to carriers, 3rd-party logistics partners, and internal/external customers. Share information with customer service representatives and work closely with internal teams to track and resolve carrier issues.

  • Technology & Process Improvement - Use SAP to print pick lists, confirm and post orders, and access key details like carrier, ship date, and tracking numbers. Apply a continuous improvement mindset to identify opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.

  • Quality & Safety - Help ensure proper storage, inventory control, and security of all product stocks. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area at all times.

  • Team Support = Act as a backup for other office personnel when needed, ensuring seamless operations across the team.

WHAT WE'RE SEEKING:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), required.

  • Previous experience working in a Shipping environment where processing of customer orders was completed, preferred.

  • General knowledge of shipping procedures, a plus.

  • Bilingual, preferred.

  • You'll have the flexibility to take on extra hours and occasional weekends when needed-perfect for someone who enjoys being hands-on and making an impact during critical times.

OTHER SKILLS THAT MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
  • Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

  • Computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, SAP and other office equipment.

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced setting and effectively work in a team environment.

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Ability to be respectful, approachable and team oriented while building strong working relationships and a positive work environment.
