Job summary

BYRNE ELECTRICAL SPECIALISTS is seeking a motivated individual to join the shipping team to help with everyday shipping needs.

You will arrange timely shipment of customer orders, process packages, label and paperwork, coordinate with carriers, and prepare shipping documents. The role requires strong organization, good communication with customers and vendors, and willingness to work extended hours when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a shipping environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Arrange for timely and accurate shipment of all customer orders.
• Process packages for shipping with complete labeling and paperwork.
• Arrange product on skids per customer requirements and prepare for shipment.
• Prepare shipping paperwork such as Bills of Lading, Customs paperwork, and Packing Slips.
• Contact carriers to schedule outbound shipments.
• Gather production from lines to Shipping for order assembly and shipment.
• Demonstrate flexibility by transitioning between roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain excellent attendance to support team performance.
• Willing to work extended hours to support production demands.
• Operate Hi-LO forklift equipment safely and efficiently.

• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability by quickly transitioning between roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintains excellent attendance to support consistent team performance and operational success.
• Willing to work extended hours as needed to support production demands.
• Certified and experienced inoperatingHi-LO (forklift) equipment safely and efficiently.
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
