The AMES Companies, Inc. is hiring a Shipping Clerk for 1st shift in Carlisle, PA. The role coordinates and processes outbound shipments, prepares shipping documentation, and verifies details to ensure on-time delivery.
You will maintain records, support customer service, and uphold safety policies in a fast-paced distribution center environment. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with a focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams

The Shipping Clerk on 1st Shift is responsible for coordinating and processing outbound shipments, ensuring products are shipped accurately and on time. This role prepares, reviews, and maintains all required shipping documentation, verifies shipment details, and supports compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
Our distribution center is located in Carlisle, PA.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand on concrete floor with/without floor mats; and use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms (which may include above and/or below shoulders); bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear.
