Job summary

Novolex in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Shipping Clerk to affix shipping labels using FedEx, UPS, and LTL software and to prepare shipments for our aftermarket parts business. This is a daytime, Monday–Friday role in a climate-controlled environment.

The position offers growth with pay increases at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months, starting at a competitive hourly rate. Paid training and benefits are available as part of our team.”

Summary

We are currently looking for a Shipping Clerk to join our team. This person will be responsible for using Fed Ex, UPS and/or LTL truck shipping software to affix shipping labels on packages that we ship out to customers for our aftermarket parts business.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities

• Use Fed Ex, UPS, and/or LTL truck shipping software to print labels for packages shipping out to customers.
• Organize packages/shipments by customer.
• Understand shipping requirements specified by customer and take action accordingly.

Candidate Requirements

• 1-3 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with computers. Especially beneficial if the candidate has experience using Fed Ex or UPS shipping software.
• Must have good organization skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
