Job summary

UTEX Industries invites applications for a Shipping Clerk to join our Texan manufacturing team. You will pack and unpack orders, prepare shipping documents, pull inventory, and inspect incoming merchandise while assembling mechanical components, labeling, boxing, and preparing products for shipment to meet quality standards.

You’ll work in a combined manufacturing and office environment with PPE and steel-toed footwear required; this full-time role runs Monday–Friday with occasional evenings or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic computer programs.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; and stoop.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and follow safety protocols.
• Preferred: Forklift experience.

What You’ll Do:

As a Shipping Clerk, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are assembled and shipped with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Packing and unpacking orders to meet department schedules
• Creating shipping documents and pulling inventory
• Visually inspecting incoming merchandise
• Assembling mechanical components using a variety of tools

What We’re Looking For:

Work Environment:

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
