Job summary

FUJIFILM Biosciences in the United States is seeking a Shipping Clerk to pull, package, and process finished goods for on‑time customer shipping in compliance with current policies.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work in a team, and experience in warehouse/shipping. You will handle pack lists, labeling, small parcel shipments via courier systems, and assist in stock and Receiving as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year general industrial warehouse/shipping.
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work well with others (team player).
• Good organization skills.
• General understanding of GMP requirements as necessary to perform routine shipping duties.
• Ability to speak, read, write and communicate in English.

• Verify part number, size, lot numbers, and quantity against pack lists.
• Ensure labeling and packaging comply with storage, shipping, and DOT requirements.
• Process small pack shipments using FedEx or UPS systems.

• Assist in stocking products and maintaining stock locations.

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Pulling finished goods product from each storage location (freezer, cooler, room temperature) with a high degree of accuracy, according to master pack list or individual pack list requirements.
• Pulling product, assures that the part number, size, lot numbers and quantity agrees with the pack list document.
• Verifying that product picked agrees with part number, size, lot number and quantity as shown on the individual customer pack list document when packing orders.
• Reviewing the pack list notes or any other shipment related document to insure that all requirements of the shipment have been met when packing orders.
• Assuring that correct labels are placed on packaged shipping containers and shipping pallets, according to proper storage, shipping & handling and D.O.T. requirements.
• Processing small pack shipments using Fed Ex of UPS system.
• Operating forklift as needed.
• Assisting in stocking products and maintenance of stock location system.
• Assisting Receiving department as needed.
• Additional duties as requested by Manager or Shipping Lead.

Required Skills/Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year general industrial warehouse/shipping.
• Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to work well with others (team player)
• Good organization skills.
• General understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements as necessary to perform routine shipping duties.
• Ability to speak, read, write and communicate in English
• Job primarily requires employees to stand, occasionally required to move around walk, sit, use of hands to handle, feel or reach; climb ladder.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and depth perception.
• Job occasionally will require employee to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Job occasionally will require employee to work under cold or freezing temperatures for long periods of time.

Salary And Benefits

• For California, the base salary range for this position is $19.50- $24.50 per hour. Compensation for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, location, etc.).
