Job summary

Envista Holdings Corporation, through its Ormco operating company, is seeking a Production Technician to set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in a continuous production environment in Wisconsin.

You will follow engineering drawings, SOPs, and procedures; calibrate and troubleshoot equipment; monitor controls; and perform assembly of sub-assemblies as part of a production team. This role offers competitive hourly pay and benefits based on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow engineering drawings, SOPs and work instructions.
• Experience operating or setting up automated or semiautomatic production equipment is a plus.
• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment in Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic or semiautomatic machines in a continuous production environment.
• Monitor meters, gauges, valves, temperatures, pressures and related controls to ensure specifications.
• Install, modify, troubleshoot, repair and dismantle machinery per SOPs and drawings.
• Calibrate, test and troubleshoot circuits, components and sub-assemblies; assemble sub-assemblies and complete units.

Sets up and operates automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Follows engineering drawings, work order information, Manufacturing Assembly Procedures, SOPs, and other written and verbal specifications in the manufacturing process. Installs, modifies, moves, troubleshoots, repairs and dismantles machinery and equipment according to requisition established documentation (e.g., SOPs), layout plans, blueprints or other drawings. Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Assembles mechanical units, fabricated parts/components and/or electrical/electronic systems to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment. Includes Machine Operator, Process Operations, Product Assembly, and Production Technician roles.

Job Requirements:

Process cases in the shipping department and other duties as assigned.

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$21.10 - $25.80 per hour
