Bob's Discount Furniture is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support real time analysis and balance of Shipping Operations. The role involves monitoring productivity, documenting metrics, and assisting the Shipping Manager to ensure readiness of the production crew.

Candidates should have high school diploma, strong communication, multi-tasking, and proficiency in Word and Excel. Prior warehouse and administrative experience is preferred, with an 18+ age requirement.

Job Title Shipping Clerk

Job Overview The Shipping Clerk is responsible for real time analysis and assisting the coordination and balance of Shipping Operations. The Shipping Clerk will also monitor and document all productivity measurements, support the Shipping Manager/Lead to ensure all tasks are ready for the production crew, and support the Shipping Manager/Lead to ensure all end of day (EOD) tasks are completed. Other responsibilities include:

• Responsible for real time analysis, coordination and balance of Shipping Operations.
• Collects and records current productivity numbers and reports them to the Shipping Manager.
• Monitor and track attendance daily; researching and resolving issues that occur in the interface between host system and WMS in a timely manner.
• Provides administrative support for the Shipping Manager/Lead.
• Develops and maintains a working knowledge and understanding of all Shipping technology.
• Performs additional duties as requested.
• Support Shipping Manager/Leads as needed.

Compensation

Starting hourly pay at $16.00 - $20.00/hour (based on experience)

Minimum Qualifications

Physical Demands

• Able to sit, walk, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, push and handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance.
• Ability to move throughout all areas of the distribution center.
• Move objects up to 250 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodations.
