The Shipping Clerk is responsible for performing a combination of manual and clerical tasks related to the shipment of products and devices. This includes receiving, picking, packing, staging, labeling, shipping, and documenting outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery to internal and external customers. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process shipments according to company procedures and shipping guidelines.
- Pick, pack, and label products accurately for shipment.
- Ensure proper documentation and records for all outgoing shipments (e.g., packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels).
- Coordinate with carriers (FedEx, UPS, etc.) to schedule pickups and track shipments.
- Verify shipping information, inspect outgoing materials, and ensure the accuracy of product counts and packaging.
- Assist in staging and organizing shipments in designated areas.
- Report shipping discrepancies or damaged goods to appropriate personnel.
- Help maintain a clean and organized shipping area.
- Assist in inventory control tasks such as cycle counts or verifying product availability.
- Use computer systems to enter shipping data, print labels, and track shipments.
- Follow all safety guidelines and report any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education, Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ year of shipping or warehouse experience preferred
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office and shipping software a plus
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, shipping instructions, and safety rules
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Work Environment:
- This job operates in a clerical, office, as well as a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to blood borne pathogens. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to odors, fumes, dust or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
