Sun Gro Horticulture is seeking a Warehouse Loader in California. You will load and unload products with a forklift, complete shipping paperwork, and conduct monthly inventory. The job requires lifting up to 70 lbs and adhering to safety protocols in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Read bill of ladings and load logs.
• Load the proper product.
• Fill out all paperwork correctly (matching POs, receiving, and storing papers).
• Place safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, etc.) on trailers.
• Break full pallets into partial pallets for special loads.
• Maintain a professional attitude with drivers and office staff.
• Keep yard clean and organized.
• Drive safely at all times.
• Able to lift 70 lbs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

This person is to load and unload product using a fork truck into various types of trucks and trailers. They are to fill out any paperwork, check in or out shipments, perform inventory on a monthly basis, calculate and pull case goods lifting up to 70 lbs. They will also be required to perform forklift inspections daily, work in a safe manner and complete any other duties assigned by management and or team leaders.

Job Responsibilities

• Knowing how to read the bill of ladings and load logs
• Loading the proper product.
• Filling all of the paperwork out correctly (this includes matching purchase orders, receiving’s, and placing these papers in the proper boxes).
• Placing all safety devices (wheel chocks, safety chains, loading plates etc.) on the trailers that they are working on.
• Breaking full pallets of product down to make partial pallets for special loads.
• Maintain a professional work attitude with the truck drivers that come in the facility and with the office personnel.
• Keep yard clean and organized.
• Drive safely at all times.
• Be able to lift 70 lbs.
• Any other duties assigned.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years’ experience in field a plus.
• Computer knowledge a plus

Target Salary range is at $19.50-$21/hr
