Job summary

Fenix Parts in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Shipping Clerk to support logistics operations. You will handle shipping and receiving, inspect parts for quality, and record details in the YMS system. The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to stand and lift up to 75 pounds.

Monday through Friday work schedule with competitive pay and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k). Prior forklift experience is a plus as safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping or warehouse roles.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Shipping and Receiving: Manage shipping and receiving of small packages via UPS and FedEx.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards before shipment.
• Data Management: Enter shipping information into the YMS system accurately.
• Part Staging: Prepare parts for dispatch on delivery trucks.
• Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse tasks in addition to shipping duties.
• Safety: Ensure safe forklift operation and keep workspace clean.

Position Overview: Shipping Clerk

As a Shipping Clerk at Fenix Parts, you will play a crucial role in our logistics operations, ensuring the timely processing and shipment of automotive parts to meet our high standards of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping and Receiving: Manage the shipping and receiving of small packages via third-party carriers such as UPS and FedEx.
• Quality Control: Inspect parts to guarantee they meet Fenix quality standards before shipment.
• Data Management: Accurately enter shipping information into the YMS system.
• Part Staging: Organize and prepare parts for dispatch on Fenix delivery trucks.
• Warehouse Duties: Perform general warehouse tasks in addition to specific shipping duties.
• Safety: Must ensure the safe operation of forklift equipment, as well as maintain a clean workspace void of debris.

Requirements:
