• Count, measure, and weigh articles to verify shipment contents against bills of lading or invoices.
• Meticulously examine products for defects and sort items by condition.
• Attach identification data to parts and components and record information for nonconforming materials designated for return to suppliers.
• Prepare materials for shipping including packaging, sealing, labeling, and affixing postage.
• Perform basic data entry related to shipping and record maintenance.
