Job description

Staffmark is partnering with a locally owned, family-operated business in Muncie, IN, to grow their warehouse team! We're looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk ready to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Pay: $16/hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers) safely and efficiently


• Use computers and handheld devices to process shipments and update inventory


• Audit and verify orders, shipping documentation, and resolve discrepancies


• Maintain well-stocked, organized shipping stations


• Assemble, package, and prepare products for accurate and secure shipping


• Generate bills of lading, confirm outgoing shipments, and ensure drivers have accurate paperwork


• Follow all standard operating procedures to ensure shipment accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred


• Comfortable using technology and warehouse equipment


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team setting


• Able to lift and move packages as needed
