Job summary

The Sheridan Group in Minnesota is seeking a dedicated Shipping Clerk to join our fulfillment warehouse team, ensuring shipments are prepared accurately and cost‑effectively. You will quote package rates, apply correct labels, finalize tickets with freight charges, and provide daily shipment recaps.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours weekly. We value attention to detail, clear communication, and reliable PC skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• PC skills required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Sheridan MN is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our fulfillment warehouse team.

In this role, you will be a key player, responsiblefor ensuring goods shipped are delivered in the most economical manner that meets the customers' needs.

What You’ll Do:

• Quote package charges – ensuring the best possible rate is obtained for the goods being shipped.
• Ensure proper labels and tickets have been applied before shipping and all finished goods are shipped to the correct destination.
• Close job tickets by adding freight charges, materials and final shipping quantities.
• Provide recap of daily shipments.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, organization and PC skills and attention to detail.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

• Technical school or college preferred.
• One-year related experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
• Knowledge in the UPS, FedEx and USPS shipping systems.

Schedule is Monday to Friday - 40 hours/week

Monday - Friday: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Overtime pays time and a half after 40 hours per week and Sundays.
