Job Description: Shipping and Packaging Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Packaging Associate to process and ship orders efficiently. Responsibilities include reading order descriptions, counting items, stacking orders on pallets, checking product quality, sealing and labeling cartons, and maintaining a clean work environment.

1. Proficient in all shipping operations.
2. Excellent communication skills in English.
3. Basic PC knowledge and ability to read instructions and specifications.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in writing and numbers.
5. Basic mathematical and keyboard skills.
6. Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
7. Stock and organize cartons and supplies at the workstation.
8. Read and interpret production and shipping schedules.
9. Convey materials between areas and distribute items to production workers.
10. Mark materials with identifying information.
11. Open containers and prepare items for shipment.
12. Maintain safety and cleanliness in the work area.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, or relevant experience. Competencies required are motivation, planning, quality focus, productivity, safety awareness, dependability, initiative, and teamwork. Physical demands include standing, lifting, and moving up to 75 pounds, with exposure to mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
