  • Pack products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials and methods to prevent damage during handling and transit while meeting customer, carrier, and international shipping requirements.
  • Prepare shipments for outbound delivery, including labeling, weighing, staging, and verifying shipment accuracy prior to carrier pickup.
  • Prepare and process export shipments, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and company policies (e.g., commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, export declarations).
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to ensure timely and accurate export shipments.
  • Verify export documentation accuracy, including HTS codes, country of origin, and shipment values to ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations.
  • Maintain knowledge of export compliance requirements, including EAR/ITAR regulations where applicable, and elevate issues when needed.
  • Monitor and respond to group email inboxes, communicating promptly with Receiving, Customer Service, and Operations to support daily workflow and resolve shipping–related questions.
  • Complete required shipping documentation and system transactions accurately and timely, ensuring shipment records, tracking information, and inventory updates are correct for both domestic and export shipments.
  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to resolve discrepancies, communicate delivery issues, and support smooth hand‑offs between warehouse and other areas.
  • Operate material‑handling equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or forklifts, and follow all safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Two years of experience in shipping/receiving preferred.
  • Experience operating material‑handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks); forklift certification preferred but not required.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and follow written instructions.
  • Comfortable handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • PC skills – Microsoft Office and ERP systems knowledge.
  • Experience with international shipping/export documentation and compliance preferred.
