General Shale Brick, Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick and masonry products, is seeking a Shipping Clerk for our manufacturing facility in Augusta, GA. General Shale services many production sites and distribution centers across North America, providing industry-renowned products for residential and commercial projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Print load tickets for outbound shipments

Receive and inspect all inbound materials following audit guidelines

Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy

Provide exceptional customer service

Use computer systems to process shipping, receiving, CPU, RMA, IC, and other daily transactions

EDUCATION:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associate's degree preferred

WORK EXPERIENCE:

2–3 years of customer service experience

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

SAP experience is a plus

Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety, health, and quality

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

General computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Willingness to learn all plant processes and departmental functions

Flexibility to work weekends and nights as needed to meet shipping requirements

Commitment to maintaining a zero-harm workplace
