Job summary

Fresh Express Salads in Morrow, GA is seeking a Shipping Auditor who ensures product integrity before loading. You will count and double-check each case, complete required forms, and communicate with selectors, dispatchers, and supervisors to resolve issues in a fast-paced, cold warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Check and supervise all designated products before loading inside the trailer.
• Count and double-check every case and fill out the required audit forms.
• Effectively communicate with selectors/pickers and with dispatchers, leads, coordinators and supervisors when support is needed.
• Double-check dates and ensure paperwork matches the records.
• Ensure all paperwork is complete, clear, legible and accurate.
• Use load bars to prevent movement and follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

Job description

Food Safety Role & Responsibility:

As an individual must understand the Food Safety Statement, complete the required training, perform work assignments in accordance with training and display an acceptable level of competency with all Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies and training requirements. Areas of food safety training will include but are not limited to GMP, HACCP, facility security, visitor policy and mandatory safety training. The individual must also request additional and refresher training if he/she feels that is needed to effectively perform his/her tasks.

Job Function Statements and Essential Functions:

The shipping auditor is responsible for check and supervise all designated products before being loaded inside the trailer. Must count and double check every case that comes before his/her eyes and fill out the required forms to keep tracking of his/her audits. Effectively communicate with selectors/pickers when the wrong product is brought to the door, and communicate with dispatchers leads, coordinators and supervisors if support is needed. Must double check dates and make sure matches the paperwork he/she is working on. Responsible for ensuring all paperwork is fill out completely in an accurate and timely manner, clear, legible and with all the required information. Ensure safety by using load bars to prevent load to move inside the trailer and Follow Good Manufacturing Practices.

Required Qualifications/Skills:

Effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced cold environment, ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs and in a changeable schedule due company's need. Strong team player and leader with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines.

Experience:

A minimum of 1-year shipping and warehouse experience or equivalent.

Education/Training and Experience:

HS/GED degree preferred.
