Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with routine counts and audits.

• Assist with restocking and replenishment as needed.
• Coordinate outgoing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Serve as a backup delivery driver when needed, pending driving requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse and collaborate with teams.

About the Role

JARS Cannabis is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Associate to join our warehouse distribution team in Mesa, AZ!

In this role, you'll help keep our warehouse operations running smoothly by receiving and organizing inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and ensuring products are accurately tracked and distributed to our retail locations. This is a hands-on position that involves shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory control, and general warehouse operations.

Previous warehouse or distribution experience is preferred. Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but we're happy to consider candidates with strong warehouse, shipping, or inventory experience from other industries!

What You'll Do

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments to verify product quantities and accuracy.
• Enter incoming inventory into our inventory management and POS systems.
• Organize, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment to retail locations.
• Verify products, quantities, and order documentation before shipments leave the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with routine inventory counts, audits, and reconciliations.
• Follow established inventory control procedures and maintain accurate inventory documentation.
• Assist with restocking and replenishing inventory as needed.
• Help coordinate outgoing shipments and ensure orders are prepared for timely delivery.
• Serve as a backup delivery driver when needed, subject to applicable driving requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Work closely with Inventory, Production, Receiving, and Distribution teams to keep daily operations running efficiently.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and applicable Arizona cannabis regulations.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving, inventory management, or distribution is preferred.
• Cannabis industry or dispensary inventory experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy when handling inventory and preparing orders.
• Comfortable using computers and entering information into inventory management systems.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or similar computer programs is helpful.
• Ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
• Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Arizona Department of Health Services Facility Agent Card.
• Must be able to successfully pass the required background check.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving picking, packing, sorting, and organizing inventory.
• Ability to safely handle and move products and shipments.
