Flowers Foods, Inc. in Utah is seeking a warehouse associate to fill orders, count, load and unload product according to the shipping schedule. This role is physically demanding, requiring regular lifting and moving of up to 400 pounds with a hand truck, and navigating stairs and slopes throughout the day.

You'll ensure accurate recording of receipts, maintain a clean work area, and support safety and policy compliance. Prior shipping experience is preferred; a High School or GED is required.

Bringing Home the Dough

Fills orders, counts, loads, and unloads product on incoming trailers according to the shipping schedule.

Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect effect on product safety, legality and/or quality.

Role is very physical and requires the ability to exert the force necessary to use a hand truck to transport stacked products weighting up to 400 pounds a distance of up to 300 feet continuously throughout the day into and out of transport trucks, up and down 30-degree slopes. Role also requires the ability to stoop, bend, and lift product containers weighing 20 pounds from floor level up to 7-1/2 feet.

Rising to the Challenge: Position Responsibilities

• Ensures that product received from plant or other plants is recorded correctly.
• Load and unloads to appropriate distribution area to ensure that shipping schedules are met.
• Maintains cleanliness of work area.
• Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Ensures compliance with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Performance of other duties which are deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including but not limited to fulfillment of work schedules, adherence to attendance policies, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures.

Salary Range- $19.67 - $21.86
