Job summary

Trulite Glass in New Berlin, WI is seeking a Shipping Loader to move glass from tables, furnaces, and trucks while maintaining quality and safety. The role supports production, labels parts, inspects output, and helps ensure smooth product flow in a fast-paced environment.

Day shift, Monday–Friday with weekend flexibility. Starting pay is $17–$19 per hour with benefits starting DAY ONE and a monthly incentive bonus.

Qualifications

• Able to read and understand paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic measurements and use a tape measure.
• Willing to work in all areas of production.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Flexible availability, typically Monday–Friday with occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move glass from tables, furnace, racks, delivery trucks, or crates for eight hours daily.
• Transport materials to expedite production.
• Read and attach labels and tags to product.
• Perform quality inspections and operate or manually maneuver equipment.
• Understand facility layout to ensure proper product flow.
• Rotate through different job functions as assigned.
• Inspect products for abnormalities and notify supervisor of issues.

Who You Are:

What You Will Be Doing:

• Move glass from, tables, furnace, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily.
• Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process.
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to product
• Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment
• Understand layout of the facility to ensure proper product flow
• Perform different job functions on a rotating basis
• Inspect product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues (fabrication issues, logo placement, etc.)
• Utilize a tape measure to ensure product is within the product specifications
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Regular and predictable attendance, the ability to safely perform tasks, and adherence to all safety policies and procedures are essential functions of your job.
• Other duties as assigned.

Skills You Bring:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels.
• Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
• All production workers are expected to be available to work in all areas of production
• Flexible work availability (typically Monday through Friday with occasional weekends)
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred
• One year of previous work experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production facility, preferred.
