Willamette Valley Vineyards, Inc. is seeking Seasonal Shipping Assistants to join our team for the holiday season.

The start date is the end of November through the end of December, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and options for a Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday schedule. You will assemble and package wine orders for direct-to-consumer shipments nationwide, maintain packaging supplies, ensure compliance with state shipping laws, and help each bottle arrive securely and with attention to

• A current Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package wine orders to be shipped direct-to-consumer nationwide.
• Monitor quality and usage of packaging supplies and report issues.
• Ensure compliance with state direct-to-consumer shipping laws.
• Ensure quality in every package to customers.
• Check bottles for label/capsule deficiencies.
• Wrap bottles in logo tissue.
• Include packing list, handwritten card, passport or other promo material in every package.

Willamette Valley Vineyards, a leading producer of world-class wines, is seeking Seasonal Shipping Assistants to join our team for the holiday season.

The start date is the end of November through the end of December.

There is a potential option to work Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday.

Hours are 8AM - 4:30PM

Position Overview

Assemble and package wine orders to be shipped direct-to-consumer nationwide.

Primary Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Helps with the inventory of shipping supplies and orders as needed. Monitor quality and condition of packaging supplies being received, ensuring all quality standards are met, and document material usage as appropriate.
• Communicate to management any problems with packaging materials or supplies and/or any potential food safety problems or concerns.
• Understand and abide by all direct-to-consumer compliance shipping laws by state (Google Doc for reference).
• Ensure quality in every package going to our customers.
• Check every bottle for label/capsule deficiency
• Wrap every bottle in logo tissue
• Enclose packing list, handwritten card (if needed), Tasting Room Passport or other promotional material in every package

Must be able to:

• Lift 40lbs and navigate stairs and hilly terrain.
• Stand for long periods of time and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Sit for long periods of time.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
• Multitask, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Work well behind the scenes using discretion and keeping all information confidential.
• Effectively present information and respond to questions appropriately.
