Willamette Valley Vineyards, INC. is seeking Seasonal Shipping Assistants for the holiday season to assemble and package wine orders for direct-to-consumer shipments nationwide.

Starting end of November through end of December, with options for Mon-Fri or Tue-Sat schedules and hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, standing, and working in a fast-paced environment while upholding quality and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 40 lbs and navigate stairs and uneven terrain.
• Stand for long periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Sit for long periods.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects with timely follow-through.
• Work independently and in a team while maintaining confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively and respond to questions appropriately.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package wine orders to be shipped direct-to-consumer nationwide.
• Help with the inventory of shipping supplies and orders; monitor quality and document material usage.
• Communicate to management any problems with packaging materials or supplies.
• Understand and abide by direct-to-consumer compliance shipping laws by state.
• Ensure quality in every package going to customers.
• Check every bottle for label/capsule deficiency.
• Wrap every bottle in logo tissue.
• Enclose packing list, handwritten card, or promotional material in every package.
