Job Description

TITLE: Shipping and Receiving / Warehouse Technician – Mingo Aerospace

POSITION SUMMARY:

Mingo Aerospace is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Shipping and Receiving / Warehouse Technician to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is physically demanding and best suited for someone who enjoys working with their hands, moving heavy equipment, and being on their feet throughout the day.

This position plays a key role in the safe handling, packaging, and movement of large, heavy aerospace components. The successful candidate understands that the majority of the work involves physical labor in a warehouse environment while maintaining aerospace quality and safety standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES:

• Perform daily hands‑on warehouse work, including lifting, moving, wrapping, and packing heavy aerospace components.
• Prepare parts and equipment for shipment, including protective wrapping, crating, and securing loads for transport.
• Operate forklifts and material‑handling equipment to move, stage, and load heavy or oversized items.
• Load and unload trucks while following safety procedures and proper handling techniques.
• Inspect inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy, condition, and completeness.
• Ensure all shipping documentation meets FAA regulations, Mingo Aerospace standards, and customer requirements.
• Follow established shipping, routing, and safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate closely with Operations, Quality, and Logistics teams to support production and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping area.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with coworkers and customers when needed.

PHYSICAL & WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy items (often 50+ lbs) throughout the workday.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on feet for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment around heavy equipment and machinery.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE DESIRED:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of hands‑on warehouse, shipping, receiving, or industrial work experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required; certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Experience packing, crating, or handling heavy or high‑value equipment strongly preferred.
• Comfortable following detailed procedures and safety requirements.
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work independently without constant supervision.
