Job summary

Safety Marking LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Parts Coordinator to manage CT Parts Department inventory, from receiving and stocking to purchasing and record-keeping. You will ensure accurate records, coordinate with vendors, and maintain organized storage across multiple divisions.

The role requires a high school diploma and a Project Management Certificate, plus data-entry prowess, forklift ability, and warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Project Management Certificate required.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and critical thinking.
• Comfort with data entry and inventory software (Fleetio experience a plus).
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• Split between office and shop settings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders; flag shortages or damage.
• Pick, stock, and distribute parts to the appropriate departments.
• Purchase parts and coordinate returns/repairs with vendors and couriers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in Fleetio, including part numbers, vendor details, manufacturers, photos, and pricing contacts.
• Build and organize parts storage — shelving, aisles, and bin locations for divisions like Hydro, Rumble, Training, and the Hose Room.
• Load/unload trucks using a forklift.
• Perform regular cycle counts.

Position Summary
