Job summary

Ascentek is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the second shift in Golden Valley, MN. The role involves using forklifts and pallet jacks to pick orders, inspecting materials, and packing goods for shipment in a climate-controlled warehouse.

You will operate a warehouse management system, follow detailed work instructions, and report any non-conformities. The position offers full-time hours, shift differentials, and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years in warehouse setting recommended.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal English instructions.
• Knowledge of quality management system (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and/or pallet jacks to pick orders.
• Receive vendor receipts and transfers.
• Inspect materials for nonconformities.
• Use the warehouse management system.
• Load trucks with forklift; wrap pallets.
• Prepare hazardous materials for shipment.
• Pack cartons and stack on pallets.
• Follow work instructions from supervisor or Quality Manual.
• Report non-conformities to the supervisor.

Licenses/Certificates:

• Forklift certification recommended not required.

Technology/Equipment:

• Knowledge of WMS or ERP system preferred, not required

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently asked to speak, hear, stand, sit, and/or use both hands to handle, or touch objects, tools or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, distinguish colors or use repetitive movement for certain tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry 25 to 60 lbs. occasionally and lift more than 60lbs. intermittently. PPE will be used while filling forklift and pallet rider batteries. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a warehouse setting. Noise level is moderate to loud. Although the warehouse is climate controlled, the employee will need to be able to adapt to different climate changes. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

The anticipated hiring range for the role you are applying for is between $18.00 and $23.00 hourly. This anticipated hiring range is based on several factors, and subject to increase based on the below:
