JOB DETAILS

Pay Rate: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour

Work Schedule: 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM, Monday - Friday (occasional Saturdays based on business needs)

Duties and Responsibilities

• The Loader will be responsible for loading trucks, using overhead cranes and forklifts using order set verification
• Operate yard shuttle truck 50% of the time to assist in yard traffic flow and processing
• Load trucks and trailers with various steel material
• Must be flexible with hours needed to work Essential Functions
• Checking off material to load on a trailer
• Assist in the department as needed - general helper work
• Wear the proper safety equipment

Qualifications

• Crane and Forklift Skills
• Experience with performing shuttle truck operations
• Able to safely / efficiently relocate yard trailers (32'-53') to various locations in the production facility and shipping area(s)
• One year experience loading with forklift/crane
• One year experience using propane/diesel forklift
• Ability to bend and lift 50 pounds on a continual basis above the shoulder height and below the waist
• Candidate must be able to work at heights over 5/10 feet
• A Highschool diploma or equivalent is required

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
