Job summary

Blue Aerospace, a HEICO subsidiary, is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Inspector at our Tamarac, FL facility. This role inspects incoming goods, verifies certifications, records issues, and prepares orders for shipping in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include visual inspections, ERP data entry, lifting up to 50 lbs, and teamwork under pressure. High school diploma required; prior aerospace inspection is a plus. EOE.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus; Quantum Database ERP preferred.
• Prior aerospace inspection experience is advantageous.
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Examine and unpack incoming shipments; ensure they meet specifications and record issues.
• Perform visual inspection of packaging; before accepting goods.
• Perform inspections and verify all inbound and outbound materials for accuracy and order completion.
• Complete inspection records, logs, rejection reports, etc. before inputting into ERP system.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas. Sort and place materials or items on racks and shelves.
• Inspects and fills orders to be shipped to customers.
• Prepares orders for Shipping by picking, scanning and packing in an accurate and timely manner.

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Inspector for our Tamarac location.

Requirements

Experience and skills:

• Able to perform simple mathematic calculations.
• Intermediate Computer skills; experience with Quantum Database ERP is a plus.
• Previous Aerospace Inspection is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Quality Inspector - Education:

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.

Other Requirements:

• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Be able to stand/sit for extended hours.
