Position Overview

The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Powered Industrial Equipment. The role involves moving, loading, unloading, and stacking products to meet shipping and receiving demands and customer needs.

Responsibilities
  1. Safely operate Powered Industrial Equipment, including sit-down or stand-up forklifts, clamp, and picker equipment.
  2. Load, unload, and store products and materials.
  3. Transport materials to designated areas.
  4. Use equipment to scan products and print labels.
  5. Complete paperwork and operate inventory management systems.
  6. Follow product rotation procedures.
  7. Perform cycle counts as required.
  8. Conduct daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
  9. Maintain inspection readiness for SQFI, FDA, and customer audits.
  10. Report incidents to supervisors.
  11. Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
  12. Assist with miscellaneous tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum two years forklift operating experience; must be licensed or able to obtain a license.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  3. Pass background and drug screening.
  4. Basic computer skills.
  5. Attention to detail.
  6. English communication skills.
