Job summary

Polynt Composites USA is seeking a warehouse associate in Illinois to handle daily warehouse tasks including collecting merchandise, receiving and documenting products, packing and labeling for shipping, and maintaining accurate inventory.

• Collect merchandise from the distribution center and safely transport to the shipping bay.
• Receive and document product for delivery or return.
• Maintain an inventory of all product entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Identify missing, lost or damaged materials and notify supervisor.
• Ensure products are packed and labeled for shipping.
• Assist with training of new employees.
• Operate computer-based systems as required by duties.

• Daily Job Expectations:
• Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials to the shipping bay.
• Receiving and documenting Product for delivery or return.
• Keeping an inventory of all product entering or exiting the warehouse.
• Identifying any missing, lost or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
• Ensuring that all the product is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
• Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
• Assisting with training of newly employed workers.
• Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.
• Demonstrate good teamwork skills in performing all job functions;
• Communicate openly with Department Managers, Team Managers, and Production Assistant;
• Support company policies and programs;
• Assist in training new employees;
• Perform other duties as designated by Team Manager;
• Follow all company and department procedures;
• Use all computer-based systems as required by job duties;
• Know safety equipment location and use;
• Work overtime as needed to cover the requirements of the shift;
• Audit VCS books for completion;
• Annually audit and review assigned procedures;
• Assist in ensuring that Routine Job Tasks are completed.
