Job summary

Polymer Concepts Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operator to support movement, storage, and distribution of materials within a manufacturing setting.

You will handle shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse organization to ensure inventory accuracy and smooth production flow. Key duties include unloading and inspecting inbound materials, picking and delivering to production, packing finished goods for shipment, and recording all moves in the ERP system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or manufacturing support experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or ability to become forklift certified.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience working within an ERP or inventory management system preferred.
• Ability to read shipping documents, inventory records, and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and finished goods by verifying against POs and packing slips.
• Unload, inspect, identify, and store materials in designated locations while maintaining inventory records.
• Pick, stage, and deliver raw materials and components to manufacturing operations as per production schedules.
• Pack and prepare finished goods for shipment, ensure orders are complete and correctly documented.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory transactions in the ERP system (movements, transfers, receipts, shipments).

Job description

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the manufacturing operation. This position performs shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, and warehouse organization activities while maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production requirements, and ensuring compliance with Company quality, safety, and operational standards.

Essential Job Functions

• Receive incoming materials, components, and finished goods by verifying shipments against purchase orders, packing slips, and other receiving documentation.
• Safely unload, inspect, identify, and store incoming materials in designated warehouse locations while maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Pick, stage, and deliver raw materials and production components to manufacturing operations in accordance with production schedules and material requirements.
• Pick, package, and prepare finished goods for customer shipment while ensuring orders are complete, properly labeled, and accurately documented.Process domestic and freight shipments using approved shipping systems and carriers, including UPS, FedEx, and common freight providers.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to transport materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions within the Company's enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, including inventory movements, location transfers, receipts, and shipments.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts, physical inventories, inventory reconciliation activities, and continuous efforts to improve inventory accuracy.
• Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and material identification to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate material flow throughout the facility.
• Inspect material handling equipment and shipping equipment to ensure proper operation while reporting maintenance concerns and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, and waste reduction initiatives designed to improve warehouse efficiency and customer service.
• Comply with Company quality standards, warehouse procedures, environmental requirements, and safety policies while maintaining a safe working environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) or more years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, or manufacturing support experience preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts or ability to become forklift certified.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Experience working within an ERP or inventory management system preferred.
• Ability to read shipping documents, inventory records, and work instructions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting manufacturing operations.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory control.
• Experience with UPS, FedEx, and freight shipping software.
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles.

• Utilize hands for scanning, labeling, packaging, and inventory transactions.
• Read shipping labels, inventory documentation, and computer screens.
