Selectemp in Eugene, Oregon is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for a day shift to support our metal manufacturing operations. You’ll ensure accurate inventory, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and assist with packing, labeling, and documentation to keep the production line moving smoothly.

The role requires forklift experience, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and basic math and data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of shipping, receiving, or material handling experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Ability to read English and use measurement tapes (SAE/metric).
• Strong math, writing, and data-entry skills.
• Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
• Knowledge of purchase orders, sales orders, and shipping/receiving procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Counting, verifying quality, and identifying incoming materials according to receiving procedures.
• Marking, storing, and staging materials in an organized manner.
• Maintaining and performing physical counts of inventory for accuracy.
• Preparing and verifying documentation for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Assembling orders and verifying quantities, weights, and specifications.
• Preparing shipping paperwork and entering shipment data into computer systems.
• Selecting or constructing appropriate crates, pallets, or containers for shipments.

• Performing additional warehouse duties as assigned.
