What are we looking for?

The purpose of this position is to prepare and ship completed eyewear and receive and verify inbound merchandise deliveries.

Where you will have an impact

• Receive from the lab all jobs to be shipped and place in the correct bin according to the invoice wrapped around the eyewear
• Print shipping labels and packing lists
• Process all outbound orders for shipment, including packaging in appropriate carton and applying correct address label
• Inspect incoming merchandise for proper quantities, damages, and expiration dates, as per purchase order
• Ensure packing slips and PO’s are routed to Accounts Payable, noting discrepancies
• Ship returns to manufacturer for repair, replacement, or credit
• Assist with inventory tracking related to cases, boxes, and shipping supplies
• Operate and monitor shipping and tracking computer systems
• Generate daily reports of shipped transactions
• Track shipped jobs and provide delivery confirmations
• Print and ship return labels to provider offices
• Practice and comply with QMS, safety, hazardous materials handling, and waste disposal laws
• Other duties as assigned

What’s necessary to do the job?

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum 1 year related manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions logically
