Job description

Job Title: Shipping And Receiving Clerk

Duration: 3+ months

Location: Irving TX 75063

Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-4:30pm

Job Description:

The Shipping/Receiving Clerk is responsible for tasks related to receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations at the regional client supply fulfillment center. Responsibilities include but are not limited to receiving, pallet and box breakdown, material storage, box building, order initiation, pre-packaging, counting, material transfers, inventory management, item picking, packing, shipping, labeling, pallet preparation, truck loading, and order confirmation. Additional duties may include offline order filling, labeling, operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jacks), moving/lifting, and cleanup.

Responsibilities:
  1. Unload trucks and process incoming materials, verifying and entering receipts into the management system.
  2. Notify supervisors of discrepancies and prepare outbound shipments.
  3. Manage returned goods according to SOPs.
  4. Deliver stock to designated areas and rotate stock based on receipt date and expiration.
  5. Identify short-dated materials and report to supervisors.
  6. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.
  7. Follow all safety and policy guidelines.
  8. Recommend process improvements.
  9. Assist with order picking, packing, delivery, and prepacking.
  10. Support record storage and retrieval.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
