Job summary

M&K Truck Centers in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our Warehouse team. This regular full-time role involves verifying shipments, recording data, managing core parts procedures, and delivering parts to customers as needed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, experience with shipping/receiving and inventory systems, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Prior experience preferred with shipping/receiving and controlled inventory systems.

Responsibilities

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records to verify accuracy.
• Record shipment data such as weight, charges, and discrepancies.
• Manage core parts procedures; deliver parts to customers as needed.
• Confer with establishment representatives to rectify problems such as damages or shortages.
• Pack, label, and prepare materials for shipping using tools or meters.
• Deliver or route materials within the facility.
• Perform Body Shop duties: painting and shop upkeep.
• Other duties as assigned.

Regular Full-Time INDIV CONTRIBUTOR Sterling Heights, MI, US

Salary Range: $21.00 To $24.00 Annually

We are currently looking for someone to join our Warehouse team! This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the Diesel industry and will provide an excellent opportunity to jump in and learn diesel parts by helping us receiving and posting retail as well as stock orders. Additionally, this position will be responsible for delivering parts directly to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Manage core parts procedures
• Parts delivery as needed
• Confer or correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.
• Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, conveyor, or sorting bins.
• Body Shop duties: painting, maintaining shop equipment, and cleaning
• Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate Would:

• Graduate of High School or have a GED
• Prior experience preferred with controlled inventory systems and shipping/receiving.
• A valid drivers license with no restrictions and clean driving record.
