Job summary

InterFlex Acquisition Co LLC and Their Recruiting Partners is seeking a shipping/receiving associate to monitor all activities at the plant and off-site warehouse. You will verify counts, prepare shipments, and route items to correct areas, using standard bills of lading and packing lists.

You will operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jack, handle inbound and outbound shipments, and maintain basic inventory records.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate.
• Computer input skills and basic software proficiency.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Compare quantities and conditions of incoming/outgoing shipments against records.
• Determine shipment method and prepare all outgoing shipments for pickup.
• Coordinate with third party carriers and oversee special mail shipments.
• Route shipments to correct storage/work areas and manage inventory control.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and light delivery equipment as needed.
• Prepare bills of lading and packing lists; read invoices and orders.

Job description

The purpose of this position is to monitor all shipping and receiving activities at both plant and off-site warehouse’s. The main objective is to verify and record all incoming and outgoing shipments as well as prepare items for shipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Compare identifying information and counts, weights or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.Correctly prepare all outgoing shipments for pick-up.Coordinate shipping and receiving with third party shipping companies.Oversee all Fed-Ex, UPS, or other special mail shipments.Oversee and handle all incoming shipments.Route incoming shipments to correct storage or work areas.Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet jack, and delivery truck.Inventory control procedures.Ability to prepare bills of lading and packing lists.Ability to lift 50 pounds.EXPERIENCE:Must be a high school graduate.Computer input skills.
