Job summary

Hunter Search Global, LLC is seeking a dependable Receiving Clerk for our Elgin, IL facility. You will receive, inspect, and log shipments, verify against POs, and maintain accurate inventory records while supporting production operations.

The role requires a valid Class C driver’s license, forklift familiarity or willingness to certify, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds. This is a hands-on, fast-paced warehouse position with benefits including health coverage and a 401(k).

NOW HIRING: RECEIVING CLERKLocation: Elgin, IllinoisPay: $20.00 per hourPosition Type: Non-UnionJoin Our Team!We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Receiving Clerk with a valid Class C driver's license to join our team in Elgin, IL!Position OverviewThe Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording incoming shipments, maintaining accurate inventory, and supporting daily production operations. This position also involves driving a company vehicle to transport materials, parts, and supplies between company locations and vendors.Key Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.- Inspect materials for damage, defects, and discrepancies.- Enter receipts accurately into the inventory system.- Label, organize, and store materials in designated locations.- Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas.- Communicate with Purchasing, Production, and Quality teams regarding materials and shortages.- Operate a company vehicle to pick up and deliver materials, parts, and supplies.- Safely secure materials during transport and follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures.- Assist with material movement, production staging, shipping, and inventory counts.- Maintain accurate receiving documentation and assist with special projects as needed.Required Qualifications- Must have a valid Class C driver's license and a clean driving record.- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other material-handling equipment, or willingness to obtain certification.- Basic computer skills and accurate data-entry abilities.- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Preferred Qualifications- Previous receiving, warehouse, or logistics experience.- Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.- Forklift certification.Work EnvironmentThis position works in a manufacturing and warehouse setting and requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials.
