Shipping and Receiving Associate

Location: Windsor, CT

Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Day Shift: 7 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Friday

Job Duties

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and documentation.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for on-time shipping and delivery.
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks while following warehouse safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control.
• Organize warehouse inventory to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and OSHA‑compliant.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Work independently while supporting overall warehouse operations.
• Assist with general shipping, receiving, and warehouse duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Previous Shipping & Receiving, Warehouse Associate, or Warehouse Worker experience preferred.
• Strong forklift operating experience (required).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
• Knowledge of inventory management and warehouse best practices.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Team player committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
• Steel‑toed shoes required.
