Shipping and Receiving Associate

Location: Plano, TX

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 8 AM-4:30 PM

Schedule: Monday–Friday

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of shipping, warehouse, or order fulfillment experience
• Experience using ERP systems and basic computer skills
• Strong data entry skills with close attention to detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, and other freight/shipping carrier systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to safely lift and move up to 70 lbs. as needed
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment

Job Duties

• Process customer orders by picking products and updating inventory in the ERP system
• Prepare shipping documents, including packing lists, labels, and freight paperwork
• Verify product type, quantity, and order accuracy before shipment
• Label, pack, and secure products using protective materials to ensure safe transit
• Coordinate daily shipments with freight and overnight carriers for timely pickup
• Enter shipping data into ERP and carrier systems with accuracy
• Maintain clean, organized staging and shipping areas to support workflow efficiency
• Support inventory, order picking, and packing activities as needed
• Communicate inventory issues or discrepancies to the Shipping Supervisor
• Perform physical tasks, including standing, reaching, lifting, and material handling throughout the shift
